Proposition 71

We in Wisconsin have one eye on Proposition 71 in California, which would establish the "California Institute for Regenerative Medicine" to regulate and fund stem cell research. Jeff Nolan quotes an opposition view from Mitch Kapor. Dan Gillmor is also against. Same for Steve Bainbridge, who quotes extensively from Francis Fukuyama.
