Hive v. Pack: A Blogspheric Analysis
Blogs have always been filled with navel gazing, but activity in the wake of Eason Jordan and Jeff Gannon threatens to make the whole operation collapse in on itself. Nevertheless, this is an interesting analysis that distinguishes left blogs from right blogs by ... can you guess? The comments function! "Turn off the comments: they are too numerous to be useful, and if your readers are commenting at your site, they are not out in the blogosphere, are they?" Of course, this post is followed by about a gazillion comments! Doh! Thanks to my co-blogger Adam Greenwood for the tip.Posted by Gordon Smith in Blogs and Blawgs
